Hi,

I have developed a prototype c# app, that lets you list all active sessions on a server/pc and then connect via vnc or get wmi information So far following classes are brought back Win32_SystemEnclosure, SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem, SELECT * FROM Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration but nay 3 classes u want could be brought back via config window.

I developed app in house to help people on our team, would it help anyone else? I would be happy to tidy up and release app for wider use.

I have included a couple of screen shots below.

I have included zip of alpha version, for people to test and give feedback.

You need to have Admin access to server you are querying. Unzip files to local drive, will also need 2.0 of dotnet framework on machine running app. Domain name should be netbios name.

Any questions/suggestions, please let me know.

Perhaps we should have a section for user contributed apps and enhancements.

I think we also should re-create the Open Audit web site soon. Anybody else got any thoughts on the subject?

I agree - a new website would be nice.

My suggestion is make the website look/feel like the Open-Audit interface. Great way for folks to get introduced to the software without them even knowing it! ;)

...just a thought, of course...!

A side note - this forum is remarkably quiet for such an awesome application!

I was considering modifying my 'HelpHTA' application to work from the OpenAudit database - someone take a look at my current incarnation and see what you think:
