I don't have a Windows + Office 2016 machine to test with.
Something on this linked page may help you - http://www.isunshare.com/product-key-finder/how-to-recover-office-2016-product-key.html.

It looks like they're changed the encoding again. The current code doesn't get the correct key when i test. I did find an application that can decode the key so it can be done.

Hi All,

I'm new in here. but I can see many people looking for a solution with MSOffice Keys.
The problem occurs only with Home and Business edition (perhaps it can also occurs with Home and student, but I dont have this edition to test).
I could see that there is no DigitalProductId reg in the regkey SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\*\Registration, so the audit_windows.vbs needs to be updated.
Up to now, I couldnt discover the new location of the Product Key information.

If anyone knows that information, or a new version of the audit_windows.vbs that can do that i will be thankful.

Regards,
Francisco.

I'm using Windows 10 and Office 365 at work, I can't find any Office keys in the registry.

Seems that it's not tied to a key anymore, but by subscription, which is probably configured with the company I work for subscription for Office 365
