Main Page, click the Group "All Devices".
Click menu -> Installed Software.
Click the excel icon in the menu bar on the right.
Done :-)

Can I have the report to be grouped per device?

You would need a line per software package, per device.
In short, no.
That report will be thousands of lines long (at least).
What are you trying to accomplish?

I was asked to do sw audit for computers in our office. I believe that I am supposed to deliver what I can see on the screen "Summary - for xxx computer" when I click "Software" -> "Installed".

I see nice table with columns like Package Name, Contact, Version, Publisher, Date Detected, Installed On, Installed By. I want such table for one computer(device) to be exported into csv.

Ideally all devices to be exported into csv with one more column - device name.

I hope it is clearer now.

Thank you

Radek

Yes this can be done, but you're going about it incorrectly. This is why there is no Query definition for this report.

You should be asking questions such as -

If this is for an external software license audit, does the vendor have any rights to see other vendors installed software? For example, if it's on behalf of Microsoft, does Microsoft have any right to know what other software is installed on your computers?

Does the audit care about all the Microsoft patches?

Does the audit care about 'free' or 'open source' installed software?

You should really be narrowing down your scope before you get to the actual reporting level.

I have attached the report you want, but when you run it, it will likely be 1,000's of rows. I recently saw something similar which was nearly 1,000,000 rows. Obviously this is not useful. The Query Definition is attached. Use at your own risk.

Hi Mark

that is (almost) exactly what I wanted. I need to supply such a list to our global IT department. I guess it might be for auditing or for some certification or so.

Your query is good. I just added two fields
- timestamp - is that a date of the last scan performed?
- software_installed_on - for this field I would like the value "0000-00-00 00:00:00" not to be included in the report. Would you know how to do that?

Thank you for your help.

One more thing ....

Why the google search link is not exported in xls? It's a great thing to have it there. If I do copy from a browser I got it there.

Those fields can all be added, but we're getting into custom work territory here.
