Hello
I am starting to use the open-audit and is a fantastic tool.
There is a possibility the Windows group to show the full name of the User?
For example, we print in the user jsantos put the name registered on Activi Directory is Jeferson Danine Santos, is the possible open-audit show full name in windows group?

We could likely change it to account@domain (Name).
IE - mark.unwin@open-audit.com (Mark Unwin).
Would that help?

If so I'll log it as a feature request.

As always, if you would like this implemented ASAP, please do contact me as we have development hours available for customers to purchase. I would think this particular feature would be very quick and easy.

Could change to account @ domain because information of this field is exactly that.
However I want the full name appears in the User Account if possible.
Understood my request?

I understand, but that won't be optimal for users with multiple domains. How do I know if user John Smith is on domain 1 or domains 2 (and there are two John Smith's)?

Hence we HAVE to have the domain in the user attribute.

Irrelevant: John Smith is a common placeholder name for Anglo-speaking countries. Where I come from, we use Juan Pérez. Took me couple of years to put two and two together. :lol:

I do not know much VBS script I prefer to use Kixtart the logon script.
In KiXtart have a function called @FULLNAME and this function appears in the User's full name as it was registered in AD, and not just the NT Login

Maybe print attached can explain better

It is possible, your request is understood and the request has been added to the list. If you want it "right now" you'll need to make the change yourself or contract Opmantek to do it.

If you're not proficient with vbscript then you'll need to wait or pay.

It is silly how easy this is and how it took me so long to find it.

In audit_windows.vbs change:
windows_user_work_1 = "physicalDeliveryOfficeName"
to
windows_user_work_1 = "displayName"
Test but it should work.
