It's useful to know what email address the machine in question is accepting emails on. Would it be too much trouble to read the registry for email addresses setup in outlook or outlook express? and perhaps even read thunderbird too. Anyone else find this a useful idea? |

My OA server is configured for ldap to our active directory, so when looking at a system there is a link to user information which includes user email and smtp addresses. |

This is probably the easiest way to do this in an Active Directory/LDAp set up, as otherwise you would be scratching around trying to find out what email client, and profile the current user is using, and this information is not genarally in the registry, or indeed anywhere sensible. |

I believe for Outlook Express at least, email accounts are stored in the registry. |
