i've 2 issues with the software-list (for adding/removing software):

* everytime i click the add/remove button the page goes back to top (while it should not move), I'm scrolling like nuts
I've looked into the HTML and it's not really clear to me why it does behave like this (both in FF and IE). a possible solution might be to make 2 spans: one with the add-link and one with the-"added"-confirmation and switch between display and hide-status.

* many software comes in multiple versions and languages or with uncountable plugins or updates. It would be nice if there would also be an advanced view which groups the software in expandeble lists.

Eg

  • +Adobe Reader
    • Adobe Reader 6.0 - Deutsch
    • Adobe Reader 6.0.1
    • Adobe Reader 6.0.1 - Deutsch
    • Adobe Reader 7.0 - Deutsch
    • Adobe Reader 7.0.7
    • Adobe Reader 7.0.7 - Deutsch
    • Adobe Reader 7.0.7 - Nederlands
    • Adobe Reader 8
    • Adobe Reader 8.1.0 - Chinese Simplified
    • Adobe Reader 8.1.0 - Deutsch
    • Adobe Reader 8.1.2 - Chinese Simplified
    • Adobe Reader Chinese Traditional Fonts
    • Adobe Reader Extended Language Support Font Pack
    • Adobe Reader Japanese Fonts
    • Adobe Reader Korean Fonts

when clicking the "+" the list will expand. That way it would also be possible to add an entire group. (another view would be publisher > package > version/addons/plugins. Eg Adobe > Adobe Reader > Adobe Reader 8...)

How to define a top-level might not be that simple. Is it possible to compare strings for similarities (is that an English word?)?
