I was looking a the possibility of logging events from the Audit script.
Initially I was going to add a second form to allow the script to post results to the web server, however it occurs to me the best way to do this would be to add events to the existing web form, so each time a script posts some results, these are added to the event log tables. This saves having to do much web coding, and also means that any script which posts will also be able to be logged (saves re-coding the linux scripts etc).
Does anybody have any thought on this subject before I start coding?
(I will make this optional, so we don't end up with huge event logs).
