Hi,

We are planning to have an OAV2 structure as follows:-

Group1 has:-subgroup1,2,3
Group2 has :-subgroup,2,3,4,5 etc.
Subgroup1 etc has machine1,2,3.....

How difficult is it to code this feature?
Any help on implementing this new feature change will be greatly appreciated,

In the database, there is a field 'group_parent' in the 'oa_group' table (where the definitions for groups are stored) - so at a DB level this is already catered for. At an application level - nothing yet. It's on the list but to be honest, not a high priority. Can I ask the use case you have for this?

Following is the use case:-

There is going to be a state level, district level and taluka level dash boards ( Under one state there will be many districts and under each district there will be many Talukas, Under each taluka there has Windows 7 desktops. There have to be 3 levels of dashboards, state, district and taluka. State login should be able to see details of statewide audits, and district and taluka logins also should be able to see only that particular district and taluka level audits.

If the USB devices like printers etc are off line at the audit time, I need to pull out state, district and taluka wise reports for the off line status of the usb devices.

I have started working on the development of this. Any pointers like which modules should I analyse and modify, or do I need to write separate modules would help. The code will be of course shared.
