I'm on SVN 1139.

I was checking out the audit_linux.sh script and the comment under the Printer Info section says that the printer info is successfully gathered from the client but doesn't seem to be posted to the DB.

I followed the code and it turns out that the function insert_printer (in admin_pc_add_dir.php) is trying to insert the entries into a non-existent 'printer' table.

The only table that has something to do with printers is the 'other' table, where I could see some of the virtual printers have been picked up from my audits, with the type = 'printer'.

Does the 'printer' table need to be put back on or are printers meant to go to the 'other' table?

I have the same problem with version in the file 20081013.zip.

If a system has network printers, it crashes displaying that message.

What's happening? Is the admin_pc_add_dir.php not reliable? I'm concerned about using another version of this file, because I don't know if the database structure used in other php is the same as the one I'm using.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

We finally solve the problem. You just need to copy and paste the printer section from other "add" php and replace the printer section in the admin_add_pc_dir.php (we called it admin_add_pc_dir_2.php ;)

Thank you anyway and we hope this will help someone else!
Regards,
