Once in a while when I do a domain audit, I come up with this unknown device that I don't know what it is. When I try to delete it using "Delete System", it doen't work. It used to work on the initial release version, but not any more. I'm manually deleting it out of MySQL as of right now.

Open Audit is a wonderful piece of software. I've been using Winventory since 2004 and just switched over to Open Audit in late August of 2006. It is by far the best auditing software out there right now, even in it's beta phase.

Tthe OS says Unknown and it's listed as a System.
I can't even push the Delete Button on it.

Does the system come up with no UUID? In that case, that's the reason. I don't know why it happens, I just know I haven't had that happen since the sourceforge release (used to happen on initial svn import). It shouldn't happen, according to the code, but it sometimes does....

This happens when somehow a system gets added without a UUID. You can safely remove these, but you will need to do it within MySQL.
