I am the new user for the OpenAudit .I wanted to start from the scratch can anybody help me out with the basic things like how to scan the linux machine and how to add the system through the OpenAudit Tool.Anybody having the user manual any document.Please suggest .

Copy the audit_linux.sh script to the machine in question. I think you also have to copy audit.config, as well. Make sure audit_linux.sh has it's executabe bit set. Run it and it should "just work" - including posting the result to the Open-AudIT server.

You will need to edit either audit.sh or audit.config to set the URL which the audit script will post its results to. this is set as per the windows script.
