I began just one week ago looking for a open source solution to audit the 400 or so pc's under my control and found Open-AudIT.

I love it. It works great for what I need. It turns out perfect actually since I need to integrate this data into an existing system that is written in php with a mysql back end.

I made a few modifications to the audit.vbs script, mainly to have the option of a MsgBox at the end of the audit run even if you want verbose turned off, as I would guess almost everyone does.

I also made a modification to open a browser (FF or IE) at the end of the audit run and navigate to the Manual edit page so our techs can assign values including two new fields I have added to that page.

Is there any interest in this kind of modification, and if so where should I post it?

Thanks!

Feel free to post any enhancements in the "Feature Request" forum. If they hit the spot, we may even include them in the next release. Please ensure that any enhancements dont break the existing application. For example any pop up box must be off by default, and only switched on if the relevant option is selected in the config.
