I would like to get a few scripts...maybe someone can create them real fast or knows where to find them? 1) Change Computer Description via a remote location.....pop-up box asks for computername...another pop-up asking for new computer description 2) Change computer name...same options as above. Anyone help out? |

Well, a quick solution for the description is using computer management. Just connect to that computer and do properties, then you can modify the description. Computer name is more difficult because you do have to restart for it to take effect. |

Or this might help you script the computer description one: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/script ... y1207.mspx I think there is a command called netdom that might help you change computer names. |
