While editing the the Config, I see that there is "discovery_ip_exclude" IP address need to be separated by a space. Is there anyway to do an IP range? I have a phone vlan that i never wanted scanned (never, ever). I would like to be able to put in 10.10.30.0-10.10.31.255 or with the mask for each subnet. Is there any documentation of the formats that it will accept or not?

Thanks,
Danno

Can't be done right now. The code looks for the target ip in the discovery_ip_exclude list and skips if found.

You could hard code your exclusion yourself. Expand the if statement in discovery.php at line 909.

jpa you are quickly becoming my personal Open-Audit tech support!

I looked over the discover_domain.vbs and to me it looks like it doesn't scan subnets at all but just computer objects within AD.

This would be ok as our phones are not in AD in anyway, but they do appear in our DHCP tables (which was my concern that discover_domain would hook into DHCP and see/scan those subnets)

Thoughts?

Danno

Just as long as you don't use any of the discover_subnet scripts or subnet scan functionality in OpenAudit Enterprise.
