As per the previous warnings in this post http://www.open-audit.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6540, PLEASE read the release notes BEFORE you upgrade.

Excerpt from the Release Notes page.
We have changed the structure of the 'system' table within Open-AudIT. THIS WILL AFFECT CUSTOM REPORTS AND GROUPS. I cannot stress this highly enough. If you have custom reports and/or groups you will need to export them from Open-AudIT (menu -> Admin -> Queries|Groups -> List, then click the Export button), then delete them (menu -> Admin -> Queries|Groups -> List, then click the Delete button) preferably BEFORE upgrading Open-AudIT. If you have extremely simple items, the upgrade may correctly update them for you - but I wouldn't count on it. Once you have completed the upgrade you can edit your custom reports and/or groups to reflect the updated system table and import them back into Open-AudIT.

If you have custom groups and they do not work as intended, you will not be able to process discovery results.

Please do read the release notes and please do make a backup of your database and files BEFORE this upgrade.

There is also new feature documentation linked to on the wiki page here - https://community.opmantek.com/display/OA/Home. Credentials, Files, Scripts - oh my!

I have also started documentation for the endpoints of Open-AudIT (linked on the page above) and a new page for an updated API (also linked from the main wiki page). The API return JSON format has changed (for the last time). If you utilise the JSON API to import or export from Open-AudIT, please do read the documentation.

Last but not least - big, huge thanks to JPA for assisting in the pre-release debugging. I really do wish more community members would get involved in beta testing with us. It will make a better product for YOU, as well as the rest of us. Everyone has different device types and configurations. I (and JPA) cannot cover everything that is used.

If 1.12.8 breaks on you, you should have a backup - restore it. I'm only too happy to respond to forum posts, but if you haven't read something which is explained in the wiki.....

Now having said that - HAVE AT IT! :D

UPDATE - I have released 1.12.8.1. It contains the various bug fixes that have been reported over the last two weeks. Thanks everyone for reporting those (of course it would be better if people would volunteer to get the Beta's, sigh). :-)

UPDATE - 1.12.8.2.1 now uploaded.

first thing I checked after the upgrade is the disk usage graphs, which aren't there anymore. Is this to be expected? thanks
