I went through the complete installation process using the installer, which was pretty cool. I did see the message that the OMKD deamon was going to be started. I don't see the deamon running since it failed to start and and am unable to start it. See install.log snippet below. ----------- Starting OMKD ###+++ EXEC: /etc/init.d/omkd start OUTPUT: /etc/init.d/omkd: line 136: log_daemon_msg: command not found /etc/init.d/omkd: line 137: do_start: command not found ###+++ opEvents not installed or opEvents daemon init script not installed as /etc/init.d/opeventsd. opConfig not installed or opConfig daemon init script not installed as /etc/init.d/opconfigd. Plugin 20-postinstall-startdaemons returned 0 Running plugin 99-postinstall-oae-welcome ###+++ Open-AudIT is Ready for Configuration ###+++ Plugin 99-postinstall-oae-welcome returned 0 ------------------ My guess is there must be some permission issues - not sure where to start. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, |
