Hi there,

I'd like to know how to delete systems (short of going into the DB and forcefully removing them). I've checked the documentation but can see no easy way to do this?

For example: If I add a machine by hand and then run the audit script later and they don't merge, how do I get rid of the manual server?

Not well documented and mostly a hammer when you might want a scalpel.

You can use these functions:
There are two functions for this that are not made available in the menus.
SERVER/index.php/admin_db/get_non_production_systems
SERVER/index.php/admin_db/delete_non_production_systems
Set the device status to "Deleted" (on the Device Summary page).
Go to menu -> Admin -> Database -> Database Maintenance.
There is an option to delete "non production" devices.

This is improved and expanded in 1.3 - options to delete devices of each status type separately (deleted, retired, etc).

Is there an easy way to delete 50+ items?

Also if needed what is the best way if I want to clear out all my PCs/Laptops?

Use the Bulk Edit capability and set the status of multiple devices at once.
Then go into DB Maintenance as above and delete the deleted devices.
Wiki page about Bulk Editing is here - https://community.opmantek.com/display/ ... attributes
