Good night my friends, My name is Marcos Gonçalves and first of all I would like to excuse for my english, I'm Brazilian. In my research paper in college I will talk about the audit of corporate networks, both the hardware and software. My idea is to talk about the legislation in in Brazil, audit tools (such as open-audit) And the importance of auditing the environment. I'm very excited to talk about this topic that I believe is of great importance for network management.I met the open-audit when I changed my job recently and was impressed with the tool. Software audits are important in the USA for legal reasons. Not sure if hardware fits into that equation. Over here software companies regularly audit customers to see how many copies of their software are in use, to compare with what has been purchased. The gov't also has a program where anonymous people can report software violations that they have become aware of, and these people are rewarded if the info they give is legit. |
