Hi,

I will start of by saying "I love OA", secondly as we have alot of Solaris machine in our network (300+) and I want them to be auditted to I adapted the audit_linux.sh script to reflect a solaris 10 machine. Some info is not available as easy as on a linux box but I managed to get the "N/A" to a bear minimum.

I created/adapted this script on a Oracle Enterprise T5220 and it is working nicely, I will continue to test and adapt on different type of oracle hardware so if there are big changes I will update this post to reflect the latest version.

Enjoy,
Paul.

Hey Paul,

Is it Open-AudIT (v1) or OAv2 (v2) focused?
The script was not attached to the post - you have to rename it audit_solaris.txt for it to take

Hi Mark,

This script is OAv2 focused, I am currently running OAv2-beta9.

I renamed the script to .txt and it should be attatched now.

If you have any comments or remarks please let me know.

Paul.

Greetings! I've edited the script so it gathers a raw data of total RAM and HD size.
There is also some system information corrections about the OS fields.

I actually know nearly nothing about scripting it was all Googling and trial and error on a Solaris 10 (5.10) test machine.
It's far from perfect but it gets new data.

Anyone on this script also?
