Suggestions

Reports of memory size, processor, like the Open Audit v1

Display an alert when a hardware or software is modified

Report outdated software

Clicking on the menu are displayed on the right information. If you click all the menu items all information will be displayed. I suggest that when you click on an item for others to be hidden. There may be a button to display everything.

Support for other languages. Can translate into Portuguese of Brazil

Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated.

Feel free to email me your audit result file (after removing any sensitive info like keys, etc). It can be created by running the script with the "create_file" variable set to "y".

open-audit@gmail.com will get it to me.

I think I still have some issues inputting UTF-8 character sets. Not sure why, but I've seen it here, too. More work needed here. If anyone wants to help, feel free.

Windows 7 serial - yeah, I have nothing to test with that runs Windows 7. If anyone can create a VBscript to retrieve this, I'll include it.

Will look into this, should be very easy.
Display an alert when a hardware or software is modified
This should be happening now.
Go to "Home", then click Reports -> Alerts.
Report outdated software
Not sure how I would do this. I would need a list of the current versions of all software - and it would need to be kept up to date. Is there an online service we can leverage for this ? I certainly do not have the time to keep such a list up to date !

The menu's on the right (when displaying a system) work as follows.
Clicking a top level name expands / collapses that section.
Clicking a top level icon displays / hides all the sub sections info (without expanding the menu).
Click a subsection name displays / hides it's info.

Hope that clears it up.

OAv2 uses the same languages code that Open-AudIT does. Take a look in
code_igniter/system/spplication/views/lang/
and you should see the language files. Convert the English file and change your preference in Admin -> Users -> List Users -> Edit User. Make sure it's the same as the filename. IE, for english use en.

Thanks again for the feedback - much appreciated. :D

Hi,

i would be interested in getting the Windows 7 key too.

I found following post which could be interesting http://forum.vb-paradise.de/allgemeines ... -auslesen/

They state it would work on Windows 7 too.

It would be really cool if you could integrate that.

regards ace

Don't forget little ol' OpenAudit V1. It has recently gained the ability to audit keys for newer Windows and Office versions.
