Hi,

is there a OA log file, where i can see the job configuration messages/errors? Im looking into /var/log/ messages, but its too general. Id like to know why configurations are not running as set, or running details. Also the web scheule job tells me only start/stop events.
Please let me know.

Thank you.

Ivan

My advice is to not use the web scheduling stuff. Just call the audit.vbs yourself on a Windows machine. See the FAQ forum for the various how tos. Mainly How To Audit a Domain.

thanks for the reply...

i did manage to run audit.vbs for a windows domain where i set GP for each user. However, i cant manage to run SNMP for Linux/other net. devices or for IP range. Whwn i setup and run the configuration, it takes only 2-5 seconds. Obviously there is something wrong. Since i have no log file to verify why it doesnt run im kinda stuck...

Have you looked at the php error log. There might be something in there.

Again, I don't use anything under the Audits menu in OpenAudit. I run the audits using scripts from a Windows machine. audit.vbs for machine audit and nmap.vbs for nmap audits. nmap audits don't work across subnets so you need to audit from a machine local to the target machines.
