In our AD forest, we have two domains. One larger one (A.lcl) containing our users (so they can log into system-wide services) and our smaller AD (b.lcl) containing our machines, for our own use.

You can imagine that our information as far as user and groups are very deep in the OU structure on A.lcl.

I'm *really* confused as to how to configure OA to:

Enable our Tech group to use their A.lcl accounts.
Enable OA to display user information from A.lcl
Enable OA to display machine information from B.lcl

I am running OA on a server 2003 machine, joined to B.lcl.

I see where I can do the LDAP auth stuff from ldap_login.php, but don't know how the two LDAP areas under config affect which peice of what.

Any help you can provide would be very helpful.

I also have a LDAP (Active Directory) question.

I'm not able to setup a LDAP connection on my OpenAudit config. When I try to set one up and press "test connection", nothing happens. Where/how should I start debugging this issue?

When I press the "test connection", I get this in apache log:

172.16.0.5 - backuppc [29/Sep/2011:20:44:54 +0300] "GET /itam/admin_config_data.php?sub=f2&ldap_connection_server=servername.domain.local&ldap_connection_user=asset.audit&ldap_connection_password=userpassword HTTP/1.1" 500 274
