Hello, I have installed OpenAuditReleaseCandidate.09.03.17 on SuseLinux 11.0.
It runs ok. One Problem I have is LDAP.
- New Connection
LDAP Server Name: theserver.domain.site
LDAP User Name: cn=user,dc=domain,dc=site
LDAP Password: **********

Connection Results

Server connection successful
Default Naming Context:
User DNS Suffix:
!! Unable to bind to server !!
Err Number: 49
Err String: Invalid credentials
Check that credentials are correct

syslog: get_filter: conn 1315931 unknown attribute type=defaultnamingcontext (17)
The Problem looks like no support for openLDAP???????

What I have to do to run OpenAudit with OpenLDAP Support??

Thanx for your help.

keith

late reply, but I don't have to install openldap here to connect to the windows AD for ldap info. I noticed the same error you got when I used invalid credentials. For username what works for me is only the username. Not domain\user or the format that you are using, just plain username.
