when running the setup.php after the lanuage submit I get the following:
<Quote>
Setup
Checking that the following files are writeable:
- include_config.php ..... Failed.
- scripts/audit.config..... Failed.
For each failed file, check the permissions on the file. For linux, chmod them with permissions 646. You will need to create the file if it does not exist. When this is completed, press retry to verify the changes.
</end quote>

I have tried setting the permissions and had to create the include_config.php file, but it still isnt working, any ideas? Running Fedora w/ apache

To test, set these files to be owned by the same user that runs the Apache process (often the user www or www-user or similar this is the user which is running the PHP script, and therefore it is this user which needs to read and write these files). Set the group on the files likewise to a group that this user is a member of. If this doesn't work, set the files chmod 777, and try again.

It looks like a simple perms. issue.

Let us know the results. :D

I tried changing the perms and the owner, but nothing. After banging my head against the wall a little longer, I found my issue..... SELinux. Gotta love it. Changed it to disabled, rebooted, works fine.

thanks
