I've been configuring Open-AudIT to run in an extra-net environment which for us requires the outer facing site to run a self-sgned SSL certificate.

I've searched through the forum and located this post:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2571
Regarding a modification to the audit.vbs file with regards to setting the IE option to skip SSL certificate errors.

What this brings me to is when the audit for an individual workstation is executed, the workstation shows up in the system but most of the information is missing. As in, I'll capture the system manufacturer, and some details but not much else.

If I run the same audit to a non-SSL url I get all the information.
Any thoughts?

Many thanks,
--Hank

Just a follow-up.

I found out that Apache was generating SSL errors from open_ssl. Some flavor of memory dump or general 'crap out' when Open-AudIT posts to it. That sort of explains why I"m getting some of the data but not all of it.

Anyways, I'm 99% sure this isn't an Open-AudIT issue.
Thanks for reading anyways.

If I nail down the issue I'll post the results.
(I'm pretty sure the legacy server running SSL for the development of this deployment is poorly configured, thus I'll be updating the software before continuing testing.)

Try running a fresh install of Xampp and testing against that.
