Most likely you have a problem connecting to WMI, and this is most probably due to lack of permissions.

Start here... to see how it all hangs together..

http://www.open-audit.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1393

then see here for a run down of what to check if you are having issues like you describe.

http://www.open-audit.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1464

You could use babelfish to "translate" these pages, but the results can be a bit odd.
http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Since you dont state in your profile where you are from or what your first language is I dont know if any of the developers might be able to assist you in anything other than English.

Start with the above, and if you are still having a problem feel free to post an update, we can take things from there.

Thx for the reply..

But i still have a problem..

Now, as i make a giving the permision for enter and audit the machine??
My pc into the lan have a SO Win2K and WinXp..and ..

> 1) Do you have sufficient access rights to list the Active Directory.
> Open Audit requires that the auditing account (that is the account running the audit
> script, rather than the account running the web server) has enough rights to
> enumerate all of the machines in the domain.

As I make to having the rights in order to read the active directory

> 2) Do you have sufficent access rights to connect to WMI on all of the machines you
> require to audit.
> Open Audit's audit script also needs to be able to connect to the WMI on each
machine.

And now.. as I make to have the rights to connect itself to the WMI of the designated machine??

For two OS (win2K, winXp)

No error message..but i would have to read them??

And my domain is a windows domain.
The server is a Win 2003 server and other computer installed a WinXp and Win2k..

My problem is:
the 95% of computer is audit and the software and hardware save into the database , but the remaining computer is not audit..

i have read in this forum the possible causes.. and i ask to you as I can make in order to resolve them.

- Read the active directory:
OK, no problem!! :D
- Firewall
Removed or Closed 8)
I don't know like I give the access rights to me for connect and scanning the pc (this with WinXp and Win2000).

I read always in this forum see the sufficent access right to connect to WMI..
but I don't know as to watch of it I have the accesses and like making to give them to me.

P.S. I launch the audit.vbs withe the Administrator user.

Thx for the patience
and sorry for my bad english

For the XP machines, make sure you have run allow_firewall.vbs LOCALLY on each machine.

The Win2k machines should work, if you have Admin rights.

In win2k machienes i have to 100% the admin access.

Other, in the winXP machine I now run the allow_firewall.vbs ..

After place in this 3D if the launch of the program does not have some effect.

Thx for the input and the help..

For the machine with WinXp i resolve the problem launched the audit.vbs in local mode, that is put the . in the audit.config for the string strComputer.

But my broblem it remains.. because i don't connect in remote mode in this machine??

I have tried to connect with the manage command, that is:
My Computer (Right click) - Manage - Action - Connect to other pc..

After i select Controller WMI but i don't connect to.. because??

Thx for the info..
