I apologize it is my first time using Tortoise and I am having trouble pulling down a SVN. I have http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.cgi/open-audit/trunk pasted in the repository folder but I get the following error when I run it from my empty folder...

cvs checkout: CVSROOT (":ext:http:https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/open-audit/trunk")
cvs checkout: may only specify a positive, non-zero, integer port (not "https:").
cvs checkout: perhaps you entered a relative pathname?
cvs [checkout aborted]: Bad CVSROOT.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try: https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/open-audit

Or if you just want the trunk: https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/open-audit/trunk

The trunk stores the latest code, while using the other link would pull down older code (tagged releases) and experimental code (branches).

Not sure if this is a red herring, but the error report says bad cvs root, but we are using svn.... not cvs.... :?

No red herring at all, the only thing red is my face from embarrassment! Turns out I had the wrong version of Tortoise. I had the CVS instead of the SVN. Works much better once I loaded the right one. Thanks again for the help.
