Hi,

I am attempting to use an RSS reader (using rss_new_software.php) and I am having server authentication problems (Server returned (111, 'Connection refused'). Should I be using a reader? I am a newbie to RSS so any help would be appreciated. Also, here's the output from rss_new_software.php:
http://localhost/county/trunk/ Software changes detected by Open Audit. http://localhost/county/trunk/system.php?pc=00:12:3F:5F:13:15&view=summary DTSUP01PC 192.168.2.98 http://localhost/county/trunk/system.php?pc=00:12:3F:5F:13:15&view=summary DTSUP01PC 192.168.2.98 http://localhost/county/trunk/system.php?pc=00:12:3F:5F:13:15&view=summary DTSUP01PC 192.168.2.98
Does this look correct?

Thanks,

Mike

</rss>
I tested in both my browser (Firefox 2) and in my RSS reader (Liferea). Your output looks close, but it seems missing some elements. Perhaps that's from the browser treating them as HTML tags rather than rss+xml. I'm not sure why you are having authentication problems. Assuming you can access in your browser, you should be able to access from the RSS reader. In any case, I will be uploading a bug fix soon, as the RSS was malformed at the end if there were no items found. Let us know if you figure anything else out.
