I'm not sure if this has to do with my php5 install or open-audit, but when i go to setup.php it asks for a username and password for "PHP Secured." Can't seem to find any threads or info on setup passwords which makes me think its my PHP config. any advice?

thanks
jared

PHP Secured is the name I think we've set in the auth information. Is this the svn or sourceforge version? That will tell me where to look.

The default username / password is: admin / Open-AudIT

Give that a try? I haven't yet looked to see why it is asking for a password, it shouldn't as far as I know. Otherwise, the password may well be stored in include_config.php.

That login info worked. It may help you to know that I only got that authentication popup after I was messing with php.ini. Previously i only had mysqli extension enabled, I went in enabled mysql extentions then restarted everything and thats when i got the popup.

thanks for the quick help
