howdy! i made a shortcut on my desktop with the following line in 'target':
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cscript.exe "C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\OpenAudit\scripts\audit.vbs"
'start in' is: c:\windows\system32.

i'm pretty sure this should work (yes, the path is correct), but the dos box just pops for a sec then goes adios. i also tried it without the quotes, using progra~1, to no avail.

dang it, i know i've done this before. what am i, stupid? (don't answer that!)

Make sure that path line (working directory) is set to "C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\OpenAudit\scripts\". My guess is that it is pointing to C:\WINDOWS\system32, so it can't find the audit.config file.
