I've found that if you run an audit on a Windows 2000 machine, and the user currently logged in is not a system administrator, that the shared drive will disconnect.

Has anyone else had this problem?

In a word, Nope.

If I did, I would come in every morning to 200 peple waiting to lynch me!

Can you think of anything else that is related, how are you running the audit for example?

I'm doing a domain audit from one of the servers logged in as administrator.

I'll see if I can come up with anything unusual in the way the machines are configured.
