Thanks guys,
I'm feeling embarassed about asking this BUT.......how would I go about downloading all the stuff from the SVN, I'm good on all the other instructions except that one (usually just get the released stuff  )

Good question... either use explorer and load each page by hand..... not a good idea or grab tortoise svn http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ and read the instructions... (You are rtying to do a SVN update FROM the web host in https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/open-audit/trunk
using the repo browser TO a local folder on your own PC).

You won't have commit rights, but I think this should be ok to GET the code. This works ok for me but I have full rights. Let me know if you run into trouble.

If you are unable to make it work perhaps Mark would OK an update to be posted on the download page since things are moving fairly fast at the moment.

Make sure you have subversion installed.

Then just do a

svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/open-audit/trunk open-audit

This will download all the code from the trunk into the current directory

An

svn up

will update the code in the current directory with the newest versions from the repository.

Alright, got me my updated files, popped in a fresh db, and we're good!

The scan went through successfully. I got a few glitches when I tried to delete the machine, look at the software, small things though considering its still under heavy development. I'll definitely be updating my install on a regular basis to get the latest fixes/enhancements.

Thanks to all who helped me out!! Special thanks to imacs and A_Hull for your time and patience.

So lesson learned here (in case someone in the future has a similar problem)

put the audit.config file on an accessible share
always have the latest install ;)
