| Post subject: | Is setup for OpenAudit basically the same as Winvetory's? |
Looking for a readme file or something but I can't seem to find it. I'm assuming that the setup is basically the same as Winventory? Three other questions: 1. Can I run Winventory and OpenAudit at the same time? 2. If I call either one from the logon script, does the person logging in need to have local admin rights? 3. Our building is an OU in the school district's AD. Can I just eidt the ldap path to add in our OU path? Oh, and unfortunately there's a space in the path (ou=myschool,ou=computer accounts,mydomain,ab,ca). Do I substitute the % character for a space? Winventory is an excellent program so I'm expecting no less from OpenAudit. Mark, thank you to you and your team for the hard work you've dond! Thanks, Jeremy |
