Open-AudIT Stand Alone

The Stand Alone Open-AudIT scripts enable you to quickly audit individual workstations and servers, and provides a ready to print report. Very handy when you need to know "What's on this PC?", but you aren't able to (or don't wish to) insert the system into your Open-AudIT Server database.

Here is an example of the StandAlone script run on an Ubuntu 7.04 Desktop. Link.

Downloads are available for the following Operating Systems: Fedora, Ubuntu and Windows.

Fedora - tested on FedoraCore 6.

Ubuntu - Tested on Ubuntu 6.06, 6.10 & 7.04 Desktop Editions. NOTE - The server edition requires HAL to be installed.

Windows - All Windows Operating Systems since Windows 98. NOTE - Windows 95/NT and some 98 editions require WMI and WSH to be installed. According to Wikipedia LINK, WSH is no longer available from Microsoft for older (95/NT) versions of Windows. You can still find it, just not from Microsoft.
