Hello.
This is my first day while working with Open Audit.

I have followed the steps for installing OpenAudit Enterprise as mentioned at below URL
https://community.opmantek.com/display/ ... Installing
After the successful installation when i tried to browse http://IPADDRESS/, it displayed Error 403 Access forbidden! instead of Open-AudIT logon page.
Below is the Error on page -

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Access forbidden!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New XAMPP security concept:

Access to the requested directory is only available from the local network.
This setting can be configured in the file "httpd-xampp.conf".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Error 403
<IP ADDRESS>
11/07/13 15:03:17
Apache/2.2.21 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.2.21 OpenSSL/1.0.0e PHP/5.3.8 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.10.1 This is true while accessing the logon page from Remote system as well as from Local system where OpenAudit Enterprise is installed.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

However from the system with Open Audit Enterprise installed, when i used the keyword localhost or loopback address 127.0.01 in place of IPADDRESS, it worked & displayed the logon page.

How can i access the logon page from remote system using the IP Address of Open Audit Enterprise server.

Thanks.

Hello
I am able to browse http://IPADDRESS/ by making following changes in “httpd-xampp.conf” file at path C:\Program Files\xampp\apache\conf\extra
The added line is highlighted in yellow.

# Close XAMPP sites here
<LocationMatch "^/(?i:(?:xampp|licenses|phpmyadmin|webalizer|server-status|server-info))">
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
Allow from ::1 127.0.0.0/8
Allow from all ErrorDocument 403 /error/HTTP_XAMPP_FORBIDDEN.html.var
</LocationMatch>

After the file is saved, restarted Apache2.2 service.
I am able to view the page as in the attachment "Logon Page".
But i am wondering if it is the correct login page as it did not ask for entering credentials.
I have picture of web interface of Open Audit Enterprise as seen in the attachemnt " Open Audit".

Please let me know which is the correct page for open office & how to access the same.

Try going to
http://YOUR-SERVER/index.php/main/list_groups
If you're not logged on you should be redirected to the logon page.

Mark, thank you for the reply.
I tried accessing the
http://YOUR-SERVER/index.php/main/list_groups
but it took me to XAMPP for Windows page.

I had run audit_windows.vbs on the Open Audit server & on a remote system & i could see Audit Submitted message both the times. But i am wondering where to check the details of these two audits using web interface.

I have used the download "OAE-Win-x86_64-release_1.1" from the link http://www.open-audit.org/downloads.php.
I am able to see apache folder at the path "C:\xampplite\apache"
Is this the correct download link?

I am not able to see any pragram name for Open-Audit under Add/Remove program but i am able to browse http:\\SERVERIPADDRESS which takes me to the page XAMPP For Windows page ( snapshot is attached in earlier posts in this discussion).

I am waiting for someone to help me so that i can proceed further to evaluate this open source tool.
15-Jan-2014 - Can anybody provide an update?

New download for Windows as at last night - v1.1.1.
You should simply install then browse to http://SERVER/index.php and get "something"...
