Hey all

Just done a fresh install of OAv2 on 11.04 and getting error 500's on index.php but my tets.php file works. Here's what I did:

installed 11.04
installed mysql-server-5.1, php5, apache2, libapache2-mod-php5
apt-get update

Followed the instructions 1-5
step 6 set hostname to the ip address and killed in username and password only

Step 7 fails with error 500

I've searched the forum/web but can't work out why it's failing.

Anyone able to offer a little asssitance please?

Mark

Check the php error logs for any indications.

Try removing the .htaccess file (although it's fine for me)...
I use Ubuntu 10.10.

Very odd, I've renamed the .htaccess file and enabled the php logs to /var/logs/phplogs.log and still the same. No error logs are being written.

I can create new test php files and they're all displayed correctly so there's something wrong with my OAv2 installation somewhere. Time to start re-verifying everything I've done......again. :?

I had this issue. Was resolved by enabling mod_rewrite.

Thanks Gareth this fixed the problem for me. Just setting up some samba shares to run the vbs scripts off then I'm all set. Whoooo!
