Would it be possible to add a feature to create a device that can't be audited.
I would like to have My racks as well as some other hardware added so I can keep all info such as serial number and warranty information. Also I have spare parts such as hard drives that would be useful if I can have added then if I need make a note I moved it into a audited machine.

I would like to know also. I have WYSE WinTerms that connect to Citrix. These do not seem to be audited.

An NMap scan should insert the device.
You should then be able to update some of it's details.

Bump.

It would be nice to be able to add some hardware that Open-Audit can't capture. Someone mentioned keeping track of projectors. I'd like to store information on monitors and other items we put asset tags on. Maybe in the "other" table.

No problem in OAv2 - plans for it to be able to do just this...
To be honest, I can't remember if it would even be possible in Open-AudIT.. anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller ???
