I'm sending a patch to collect software information in Fedora Stand Alone audit script.
I made these adaptations for packages that have different names, are equivalent or were substituted (I guess) in the Fedora distribution: apt -> yum cdrecord -> wodim cron -> cronie cupsys -> cups dhcp3-client -> dhcp diff -> diffutils dpkg -> rpm epiphany-browser -> epiphany esound -> pulseaudio flashplugin-nonfree -> flash-plugin foomatic-db -> foomatic g++ -> gcc-c++ gaim -> pidgin gnome-about -> gnome-desktop koffice -> koffice-core libgnome2-0 -> libgnome linux-image-386 -> kernel mozilla-browser -> mozilla mysql-admin -> mysql-administrator mysql-server-4.1 -> mysql-server openoffice.org -> openoffice.org-core openssh-client -> openssh-clients php5 -> php smbclient -> samba-client sun-j2re1.5 -> java-1.6.0-openjdk swf-player -> gnash vim -> vim-enhanced vnc-common -> vnc-libs xfce -> xfce4-session xserver-xorg -> xorg-x11-server-Xorg
I left out these packages: build-essential, php4 and python2.4
