I think it is interesting to add new columns in installed software page: as new audits do not remove apps that were unistalled, I think we are missing important information. For example, at certain time some sofware is installed and then afterwards it is uninstalled. We would see this software forever but this software is no longer installed. So, I would add new columns to give more information:
- date it was first detected
- another column to say this software has been probably uninstalled (if last audit date>software_timestamp).
- diference in days between last audit date and last seen date.

Be able to filter these columns (for example, view only really installed software in the last audit).

Thanks.

This is how it works now.
software_first_timestamp is the timestamp a package was first detected.
software_timestamp is the timestamp the software was last detected. It should be the same as system_timestamp (from the system table), if it is currently installed.
The System Software page should only be showing currently installed software.

As for the difference in days..... hmmm .....

I see software that is currently uninstalled and even I see it several times.

For example, in table software:
software_id software_uuid software_name software_version software_count software_timestamp software_first_timestamp
26771 aa Microsoft Office XP Professional 10.0.6626.0 379 20071126100436 20060822104227
3222 aa Microsoft Office XP Professional 10.0.6626.0 243 20060821095526 20060808123320
1058 aa Microsoft Office XP Professional 10.0.6626.0 235 20060806094757 20060806094757

This software is currently uninstalled (20071126) but it appears as it is really installed and it appears three times, I do not understand why.

Hi jcasadom,

Have you downloaded the latest subversion?
