We are getting a false postive on WI and maybe we can fix it with OA.

We have SQL 2000 installed on a few boxes...but it shows that over 100 people have it. The reason is because the version our server uses is different then what our employees use...so it throws off our software license count. Is there a way to break this down?

I don't quite understand what you are saying. Is this a feature that is part of WI but not OA? If so, put exactly what you want in a feature request, so when the feature is put into OA, it will be how you like it.

Alright here are a few screen shots....

Not sure if you know much about Microsoft SQL 2000....but in ScreenShot 1 you will notice 93 installs of the software. If you look at screen shot 2 you will notice different version numbers. The only versions i would like to track are 8.00.2039 which is the FULL install of the software. The other versions on that list are Enterprise Manager which just allows the employee's to connect to the server and work remotely...so it's just an add-on and not really a license.

We need to be able to pull just the full installs and seperate them from the other versions so we can keep an accurate count of license's.

Those look like screenshots of WI. This feature was changed in OA, and I think it was changed exactly the way you wanted it.
