I doubt some days who is crazy, me or computer. :roll: I collect pc information from OA database and try use it in script, but something go wrong.
IP address in database appended to full length with zeroes like 172.025.052.123 but if you try ping this, your see 172.21.42.123 instead :shock:
My friend explain me today that if address byte notation start with 0 this is mean octal notation. So 025 is 2*8=16 + 5 give us 21

I understand that "this is by design", but i suppose this is wrong design. :)

The IP Addresses are store with padded zero's in the database to make sorting possible.
