Can someone confirm this for me?

If an application is is removed (un-installed) from PCs does Open-AudIT remove it from the Installed Software log of those PCs when it does it's next scheduled scan?
EG:
http:/myserver/openaudit/list.php?pc=AB:CD:EF:GH:IJ:KL&view=software_for_system should not list MS Word 2003 if I have un-installed it.

Thanks for any light you can shed on the subject.

M.

Well Ozinm, based on the test I just performed I would say yes. I happen to have an empty database with the new release that I am testing and I ran audit on my machine then removed some software via the uninstaller then ran the audit again and sure enough that software was no longer listed in the audit.

Hope this helps

Uninstalled software removed from reports, but not from database.
Your can build some kind of custom reports about uninstalled soft, for example. Also if your install same soft again, your see "first audited" date be the from first occasion.
