First off, Thank you guys so much! This system is awesome, and is saving me literally weeks of work. I have recently needed the ability to audit where users have been going on Internet Explorer. I have found a number of programs that allow me to view there history and even save or print it off to a HTML formatted page. However I was wondering if there was a way to integrate this into Open-Audit, so I can search for keywords across the domain much more rapidly. Also, off topic, we also use Thunderbird email client. I have a way to pull everyone's sent files back and convert them into a formatted HTML page. Could this possibly be tied is as well to make it more rapidly searchable. Thanks agian.

Sounds like the job for a different piece of software really. The Internet Explorer history on a local computer is shaky at best. What you would really need for an accurate solution is a proxy server. I guess I cannot really comment on the email thing....are you just trying to back up the emails or something?

Not back up, but provide me a means to quickly search any ITHistory and outgoing email to make sure no customer information is leaked. Coping it back to the server allow me to use my current apps to search though a directory of users, instead of browsing out to each individual computers.

Not to be difficult, but - Open-AudIT's primary goal is to tell you the configuration of the devices on your network - not how they are used (by users).

Your best bet would be to use a web proxy for the web traffic (I have used Squid in combination with a MySQL DB and some PHP to generate reports), and your mail server should be able to provide the Sent Emails from everyone (have it copy any sent emails to a seperate account).

Another product to check out may be Splunk. Don't know if it can do these particular logs, but might be worth checking out...
