I'm new to OA andI'm testing it on my network using the 07.08.28 release. Looking very good thus far.

I've seen several posts about new features/capabilities in the forum. I've looked at the SVN for the latest version. I've used SVN in the past with other projects and they had it organized differently. Should I assume that the latest/highest Rev number under /branches is the latest and greatest release?

Cheers,
Scott

Just check out the Trunk - it's always the latest.

Is the trunk the latest stable or just the latest?

Trunk is the 'latest' code.
It is generally quite stable.
We don't introduce major breakage into Trunk (well, we try not to).
We are looking to have another 'release' shortly - stay tuned...

I followed the instructions exactly from the faq, and it creates a trunk folder along with other folders underneath the openaudit folder.

Basicaly I copied over everything in the trunkfolder to the root openaudit folder, and ran the upgrade. Was that the right step to do?

Also what are the other folders for that I download with the latest snv?

Thanks

Basically. You could keep your include_config file, to save some work.

They are called "branches". They are where we create a copy of the code, then add features, etc, before "merging" it back into Trunk.
That way, Trunk _should_ stay quite stable. We break things in the branches, fix them, then merge back into Trunk...
