Hi guys,

I am wondering if there is an option to 'disable alerts'. We don't use alerts, review alerts, etc and I have discovered now I have a 90GB database and its all the tables for alerts.

I don't want to disable software auditing just to avoid alerts, but I don't really have any need for alerts at all. We use Open Audit simply as a reference point when we need to.

We have the scans configured for our various clients to run the audit script at login and submit data back to us.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You cannot disable alerts (not yet anyway), but you can delete them.
As an Open-AudIT Admin level user go to menu -> Admin -> Database -> Database Maintenance.
You will see some items you can click the delete icon for (on the right side).

This sounds like a good feature (disabling Alerts). Please contact me if you would be willing to sponsor some or all development of this. Contributing in this way means every user of Open-AudIT would benefit :-)

Thanks Mark.

I have seen that. I've got that many that the thing fails with too many database executions or some other similar error. I am experimenting with changing the number of days to try and get it down, but it's killing me at the moment.

I will keep working on it and report back here.

Thanks!
