Hey there,

I've audited a good amount of Windows Servers and have noticed an odd thing.
Some servers return that both SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 are installed and they both have the same key.

I've looked through a couple of these and can confirm that SQL Server 2008 is the only thing installed, I think the odds that the server had 2005 before and was upgraded is low but even then, why does the key match the same 2008 key?

Is this a bug with the audit script?

The SQL Server 2005 key audit is at line 4985 in the audit script. I don't have SQL Server 2005 or 2008 but the audit code doesn't look right to me. It looks like a combination of 2005 and 2008 key audit code. The 2005 key audit should probably be changed to look more like the 2008 audit.
