Hello world!

I'm having some problems with OA 1.x and linux auditing. I had very little issue with the install / setup procedure and auditing a windows box is easy as pie but I'm having issues with auditing linux machines. So far I've attempted to run the script on a CentOS and Ubuntu VM but had no luck. The Linux script (d/l from https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ihashacks ... evision/64).

First attempt I tried to run the script and get it to contact the server - this failed. The HTTP post was reaching the server but the script was failing. There was a problem parsing some XML at line 601 so I removed the erroneous characters (I changed the file / folder locations etc. to match the new). Tried again, still failed though this time no error. I then tried to save to local xml file and paste into the web server manually. This run and even said it had been added as asset #.

Problem is, I can't see these assets so I'm thinking does the backend know what to do with the script? I have not copied anything from the above d/l location into the file structure of OA as I think I could break it...

I'm no developer so I'm really at the end of my scripting 'skills'.

Thank you for your assistance in advance,
Rob

You can try using the attached.
The audit script XML result has changed.
I hacked it into this one, but we need to complete the official script http://www.open-audit.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5794.
