Fixed some SNMP printer variable initialisation.
Revised the audit script (as per the latest "current audit script" thread.
I have left language learning mode on - check your permissions on OAv2/code_igniter/system/application/views/lang/en.inc and make sure it is writable if using Linux.

Haven't upgraded or ran scripts but I think the audit_domain.vbs changes were against an old file. CheckForHungWMI stuff is back but still [url=http://www.open-audit.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5851&hilit=CheckForHungWMI#p20208]broken[/url] and the local audit type iterates over the pc_array starting at number 10 and it doesn't handle spaces in the audit script path.

I only noticed because I went to add my random_order and skip_list changes (see attached if interested.)

Also audit_windows.vbs has several debugging tests for debugging ">2" which should probably be ">1" unless you're adding a debugging level "3" for super-verbose.

Gents,

Since upgrading to 7.3 my "Installed - Software" report appears to be broken. I have deleted and re-activated the report, but I'm still getting an Internal Server Error when attempting to see which machines the software is installed on (by clicking the Package Name).

The error is: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

The URL is something like: http://audit.name.com/index.php//report ... re/14/2655. (I have tried removing the second / after index.php, but no change).

Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks,
Gareth

You should check your PHP error logs for anything obvious.

Hey, from your reply I assume no one else is seeing this?

My error logs show:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Report::specific_software() in /usr/OAv2/code_igniter/system/application/controllers/report.php on line 31, referer: http://audit.domain.com/index.php/repor ... eport/20/3

Also, would there potentially be a way to force OAv2 to check on each audit for changes to Computer Descriptions. In our organisations, descriptions change each time a machine is reallocated, so an ability to have auto-updating descriptions would be awesome.

After a more careful reading of your original report and the followup info I see that you need to Activate the "Specific Software" report. Mark (developer) should probably make it so activating a report activates its dependencies as well.

I think OA already audits the computer description but it only displays the "manual" computer description which is set from the computer description during the first audit but then is only updated by an OA user. Someone has already requested something like this but I don't know if it's on Mark's To Do list.

That did the job nicely - thank you.

How do I show my reports?

If I activate a report and edit I got;

Edit Report
Page Incomplete Place holder for an incomplete page.

Yep - editing reports via the web interface is not finished.
Export the report to an XML file, edit that, then import it. Should be fine. Don't forget to rename it, otherwise you will have two reports with the same name.
If you want to use a standard report, just activate it, go to the Group in question and it should appear in the menu.

Ah, found it! Thanks. :D

It would be really nice with a report for Adobe CS products. :wink:

FYI.. This was a new install.

Received an error:
[Wed Jan 16 14:52:35 2013] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/usr/Open-AudIT v2.0/code_igniter/system/codeigniter/CodeIgniter.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/openaudit2/index.php on line 118
when installing what I guess is the latest beta 7.3 download. The readme.txt refers to the /usr/OAv2 directory
i.e. "4 - in the /usr/OAv2/other folder, "

I was unsure if there are any residual paths in the code referring to /usr/OAv2 so I left the /usr/OAv2 in place. I am using linux so I created a symlink to the faulty directory "ln -s /usr/OAv2 /usr/Open-AudIT\ v2.0 ". This resolved the issue.

It may be fixed in svn. I had not checked.

Keep it going !!
