No, I haven't forgotten I would have another beta out now...
A bit more testing and we'll be good to go.
Here's the ChangeLog from Beta 2, so far...

Audit Script
------------
Added level 2 debugging.
Submit format header now states UTF-8 (and works with the online HTML form) - all items work with UTF-8.
Fixed "last logged on user" format - username@domain in lower case.
Added system uptime.
Added 32 or 64 bit to OS type.
Removed monitors that are plug'n'play types and have no real info.
Added SMART status on disk drives (where supported).
Fixed Outlook Express version reporting.
Fixed Internet Explorer version reporting.
Added "installed by" and "installed on" for software items. Depends on log files.
Added support for 64bit software detection.
Improved server service detection.
Working support for database detection for SQL7, SQL2000, SQL2005 & SQL2008.
Added support (debug_level =2) for displaying HTTP output after XML submission.

PHP Application Code
--------------------
More Reports and Groups created and improved - more details to come.
Fixed error when processing an excel uploaded Org file.
Added Delete User function.
Added firebug debugging to login page.
Increased timeout to 5mins when processing a submitted system
Fixed all UTF-8 processing and display errors.
Fixed service errors when detection "changed" (versus added / removed) services.
Fixed route processing errors.
Auto creation of a corresponding Group when an Org is created.
Added debugging to show (in sys_man_audits table) which section a system processing script is up to.
Homepage now separates "network" groups from other groups (I have about 100 network groups).

Added Statistics menu item. You can now (anonymously) submit your usage statistics to the project. That is a big one. The data created uses your hostname (please don't submit using localhost), to both anonymise and provide distinction. That way - I can't identify YOU, but I can see that you are distinct from someone else. It's so if you submit your stats more than once, I can tell and won't count them more than once when determining the number of systems (in total) being audited. Please do submit your stats. I will post the combined stats on the homepage.

Actually - this is in Beta2. If you go to http://yourserver/index.php/main/statistics you will see the page. I just hadn't enabled it in the menu's. If you want to submit now, go for it!

"Open-AudIT - now auditing 1234567890 systems!".
