Hi,
I have OpenAudit running without problems on a Windows machine, but want to move it to a virtual machine running Ubuntu Server (Turnkey LAMP).
It works fine when I audit my local machine, but a Domain audit (and all other remote audits) fails with "Audit Stopped Abnormally".
The linux server is a member of the domain and the LDAP-connection seems to work fine (I can get a list of PCs). I changed the 'declare' statement into 'set' in audit_linux.vbs to get rid of some "=': not a valid identifier: declare: `"-errors, but this didn't help. Also, HAL refuses to start on the server, but I don't know if this might be a problem.

Here is my config:
audit_location = "l"
verbose = "y"
audit_host="http://192.168.1.19"
online = "yesxml"
strComputer = ""
ie_visible = "n"
ie_auto_submit = "y"
ie_submit_verbose = "n"
ie_form_page = audit_host + "/openaudit/admin_pc_add_1.php"
non_ie_page = audit_host + "/openaudit/admin_pc_add_2.php"
input_file = "pc_list_file.txt"

audit_local_domain = "y"

local_domain = "LDAP://my.domain"

hfnet = "n"
Count = 0
number_of_audits = 10
script_name = "audit.vbs" #I also tried "audit_linux.vbs", but no effect
monitor_detect = "y"
printer_detect = "y"
software_audit = "y"
uuid_type = "uuid"
Thanks!

I just did a complete re-install of the system, and am still getting the same error in the web-interface. Using audit_linux.sh they're different though :D
Now i am getting:

./audit_linux.sh -D -H "ldap://domain.local" -y pass.txt -d Administrator@domain.local -U http://openaudit/admin_pc_add_2.php -w //fileserver/openaudit/audit.vbs -A samba-pass.txt
./audit_linux.sh: line 929: [: too many arguments
Querying LDAP for a list of computers ...
ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49)
additional info: 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09030F, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, vece
No computers returned from LDAP query.
Check ldap.conf and for proper settings
